Last night CAP's Marshalls Team were alerted by an LPR camera to a Honda Ballade while they were on patrol and began to monitor the vehicle. The vehicle and its occupant were eventually pulled over and handed over to SAPS for further questioning and investigation. The vehicle was wanted for a serious crime that took place in June 2017
In the early hours of this morning the CAP Marshalls were again alerted by an LPR camera and found a BMW 3 series wanted for a serious crime that took place in June this year. The Command Centre quickly contacted SAPS to the scene. The vehicle was pulled over and the driver was taken into police custody.
Well done to all involved and a special congratulations to our CAP Marshalls Team who are volunteers in the community and part of CAP's Special Intervention Unit.. They have the required training and skills and voluntarily give of their time to assist CAP in fighting crime!
