Two suspects apprehended following a home invasion in Savoy!

Two suspects breached the premises by breaking down the pedestrian gate with a crowbar. The suspects gained further entry into the residence by breaking down the front door. The suspects were later joined by an additional two suspects in an Opel Corsa, with the intention of loading the vehicle with stolen goods. At the suspects gained entry into the residence, the suspects came into contact with the victim and instructed the victim to lie down on the floor. The suspects proceeded to steal various items.

Fortunately, the victim managed to press the panic button alerting CAP’s Command Centre. Tactical Units were immediately dispatched to the location in Savoy. As CAP’s Tactical Unit arrived at the location, they observed two suspects reversing out of the driveway and two further suspects running down the driveway and the road. CAP’s Tactical Officers immediately gave chase and apprehended the two suspects fleeing the scene. The suspects also had stolen items in their possession which was recovered. The suspects were handed over to Bramley SAPS for further investigation.
