Sandown – 3 January

Previously CAP informed the community of a burglary that occurred on Gayre Drive, in Sandown on the 25th of December. Thanks to the dedicated work of our community members and CAP’s resources, CAP has recovered the stolen items.

On the 2nd of January, CAP’s Command Centre received a call from a concerned resident regarding suspicious activity on a property on Westbrook Place. CAP’s Tactical Officers went directly to scene to investigate further. Together with SAPS, CAP entered the premises on the 3rd of January and recovered the stolen items from the residence from Gayre Drive.

Unfortunately, the suspects managed to flee the scene. Some of the recovered stolen items are pictured below.

CAP relies on our community to call in any suspicious activity or concerns and values all call-ins by the community as we need the community’s assistance in the fight against crime.
