CAP's legal department work tirelessly to ensure that justice is served.

Here at CAP we have a number of specialised, dedicated departments. Our legal department works around the clock to ensure that all cases concerning CAP suspects undergo the full force of the law. Our dedicated legal team follow all legal procedures closely, and help guide victims through the process. No case is too big or too small. The CAP legal see all our cases through. On 29 August 2015, two suspects pulled out an alleged fake firearm with the intent to hold up a metered taxi. CAP tactical officers, who were doing an active patrol, saw the incident in progress and immediately apprehended the suspects. The meter taxi left the scene without laying charges of attempted robbery. Nevertheless, the CAP legal team followed the court proceedings, in which one suspect was released due to insufficient evidence and the other pleaded guilty. The suspect who pleaded guilty was sentenced to a fine of R3000 or 9 months imprisonment. We'd like to commend our legal department for their efforts in ensuring that no criminal goes unpunished.
