SAPS and CAP Do It Again!
This morning, the ICCC received a phone call from a source advising that a vehicle, that was stolen two days ago in Alberton, had since been spotted in Alexandra. The registration plates were checked by the ICCC and it was verified that it was indeed a stolen vehicle.
The case number and details of the incident were obtained and CAP and SAPS consulted on the matter. SAPS's Rapid Response was sent to the location of the stolen vehicle, with a description of the supposed suspects.
SAPS Rapid Response made their way to the location where they spotted two males matching the given description as well as the vehicle which had been stolen. They immediately arrested the suspects. One of the suspects is known to the ICCC and there is a high probability that he is linked to incidents of house robberies which have occurred in CAP areas. Cap’s SAPS Liaison and Legal Team will continue investigations with the Police and follow up on any linkages related to these suspects.
Well done to the ICCC and SAPS!
