FOLLOW THE TUTORIAL
Once you’ve downloaded the app, follow the tutorial on the app and test the ‘Help me!’ button.
TEST YOUR ALERT BUTTON
If you skip past the tutorial, you can test your app by holding down the alert button labelled ‘Help me!
CHECK IF WE RESPOND
The moment we receive your alert, we will call you to make sure you are okay and welcome you.
MAKE SURE IT'S YOU
Any alert after your initial test will be treated as an emergency, where we will contact you and assist you. The operator will verify who they are talking to and ask for your security password. If there is no emergency and you provide your details, the response will be cancelled.
TURN YOUR LOCATION
SETTINGS ON
In order for your app to run effectively, you must allow your location settings to be visible at all times.
CHECK YOUR DATA
AND SIGNAL
Always make sure you have sufficient mobile data and reception in order for you to run your app.
REMAIN LOGGED IN
Your app will run in the background as long you
remain logged in. Once you log out, you will be
asked to sign in to activate your app.
UPDATE YOUR PROFILE
It’s important to update your profile with as much information as possible, and don’t forget to add your emergency contacts – all of this will help us help you faster.
