Not only does CAP proactively patrol our streets 24/7, fight crime before it happens and ensure our safety is their number one priority, they also bring the community together. CAP has formulated a Run Club, which runs evenings. The goal of the Run Club is simple: ‘to get our incredible community united, aware, fit and enjoying our streets, without feeling fear.’

The idea for a CAP Run Club emerged when CAP wanted to give more to the community in a way that would enhance community members’ lives and ensure active engagement and awareness within the CAP environment.

Join us!

Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday nights at 19:00.

Meet outside Kosher World, corner Long Avenue and Ridge Road.

Professional fitness trainers lead the CAP Run Club group, and ensure that everyone in the group maintains motivation and keeps up.

Please note that reflective gear is compulsory for your safety and reflective vests are on sale for R20 per vest at the week-night runs.

Is running not your thing? No problem! The CAP Run Club welcomes everybody, no matter your fitness level. Walkers, joggers, runners and bicycle riders have all joined the club. This is another way that CAP is building and celebrating a safer neighbourhood for its community members. The CAP Run Club is taking back our streets, one run at a time!
