This afternoon, three suspects, one armed, robbed a victim of their valuables on Morkel Road, Corner Dartford Avenue in Lyndhurst. After the robbery, the suspects fled in a vehicle. On Sunday, 19 March, a taxi driver skipped a stop street at an intersection in Highlands North, resulting in an accident with another vehicle. Immediately after the accident occurred, the driver of the taxi sped off in an attempt to flee the scene. A witness to the accident called CAP and a Tactical Unit patrolling nearby arrived within minutes. Upon arrival, CAP’s Tactical Unit spotted the taxi and immediately gave chase. The homeowner was returning home and whilst at his gate, heard suspicious noises coming from inside the property.
