CAP Disrupts Incident and Arrest One Suspect
One suspect was apprehended and one shot gun recovered after CAP tactical officers chased a Suspect Motor Vehicle from Norwood Mall to Grayston Off Ramp.
CAP's control room received a report of four armed males entering the Norwood Mall on 6th Avenue. CAP tactical officers were dispatched to the scene where they came across 2 suspect motor vehicles matching the description given, a Blue Polo and a Silver Ford.

SAPS and CAP Do It Again!
This morning, the ICCC received a phone call from a source advising that a vehicle, that was stolen two days ago in Alberton, had since been spotted in Alexandra. The registration plates were checked by the ICCC and it was verified that it was indeed a stolen vehicle. The case number and details of the incident were obtained and CAP and SAPS consulted on the matter. Well done to Linden SAPS and the ICCC on another successful joint operation
On Tuesday night, 30th September 2014, the ICCC received information that a vehicle had been spotted that was believed to have been hijacked. The ICCC immediately went to the Police, where it was confirmed that the vehicle was indeed hijacked. The vehicle was watched for 2 days to try and determine who the hijackers were and where they could be found. Breaking News! Successful Joint Op SAPS-CAP
Two suspects were arrested in the early hours of the morning on the 6th August 2014, during a joint operation between CAP, SAPS and other forces. The suspects are believed to be involved in home invasions in CAP and non-CAP areas. Two unlicensed firearms and ammunition were recovered as well as two vehicles, all confirmed to be involved in the home invasions. One Suspect Shot and Arrested when Tac Officers Interrupt Home Invasion
A Home Invasion in Melrose was interrupted last night when CAP tactical officers managed to intercept the suspects as they were fleeing the scene.
Word got out of a Home Invasion in progress when the victim, who was on the phone at the time, managed to inform someone of the incident. The person on the phone managed to reach someone nearby, who then alerted our CAP tactical officers, who were patrolling the streets.

Two suspects caught red-handed when CAP tactical officers interrupted a break-in in progress
Two suspects were caught in a home in Emmarentia Greenside CAP (EGCAP), whilst attempting to conduct a break-in.
The domestic worker arrived at the home mid-break-in and saw that the house was in disarray. She quickly left and alerted the neighbours that there was someone in the house.
The control room received notification of an incident and tactical officers were deployed to the area.

Four Suspects Caught in the Act in Yet Another Successful CAP-SAPS Joint operation
Early Friday morning, 13 June 2014, CAP's ICCC was informed by Parkview SAPS that they had received information on a planned Business Robbery in Parktown North.
CAP's ICCC team readied themselves for another operation and made their way to the target address. In partnership with the Police, CAP's ICCC team took up surveillance at an address across the road from where they believed, the incident would shortly take place.
